Casa Carmelita is a typical Umbrian countryhouse that has an apartment on the first floor. (The ground floor is reserved for the owners.) The house is bordered, on one side, by a vineyard that produces Sangrantino wine and, on the other side, by an olive grove. Upon request, the owners can prepare typical Umbrian dishes. They also offer their wine and homemade jams for sale. The garden has outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. There is a (14 * 7 metre) swimming pool (that is open from early May until late September) that overlooks the vineyard and the town of Assisi in the background. Casa Carmelita is located just 2 km from the village of Cannara (with shops and various services) and 8 km from the village of Bevagna - famous for it's Mercato delle Gaite (market held at the end of June). There is a tennis court are at Assisi (10 km) - and Perugia is 30 km away. |
